I was able to snag a bunch of lemons leftover from Jenn's reception. When life gives you lemons, make these things:
Giada's lemon pasta. Yummy! I added some red and black pepper. What can I say? I like to spice up my life.

Lemon sorbet. I made it per the recipe...then tried to eat it the next day. It was TOO sweet and not frozen enough, so I added some water, refroze, and enjoyed!

Candied lemon peels. Was nervous to do this, but they were easy! And turned out awesome. And pretty! I saved the "lemon water" after I boiled the lemons and mixed that with the remaining (thick) simple syrup after the peels had been coated...and used those to make more lemon sorbet.

Lemon cookies. The batter was really thin, so I added a bit more flour. It was still really thin and I worried about it forming one large mess, instead of cookies, so I cooked it in a baking dish. Crisper than a cake, softer than a cookie...tasted a bit like lemon pound cake. Good with jam; very English. Not bad, but certainly not my favorite.
